Return & Refund Policy

1. Scope and statutory rights

This policy applies to purchases made through ORDINEVA. It does not limit any mandatory rights you have under Finnish, European Union, or other applicable consumer-protection law.

2. Right of withdrawal and change-of-mind returns

Consumers who have a statutory right of withdrawal may normally withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days. For goods, the period generally begins when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods. If an order is delivered in several parts, the period is calculated as required by applicable law.

You may also notify us of withdrawal before delivery. If the last day falls on a non-working day, the deadline is extended where required by applicable law.

For customers outside the statutory withdrawal regime, ORDINEVA accepts change-of-mind return requests made within 14 days after delivery unless the product page states a longer period or mandatory local law provides additional rights.

3. How to start a return

Email ordineva@gmail.com before the deadline. Include your order number and identify the product or products you wish to return. You do not need to give a reason when exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.

Please wait for our return instructions before sending anything. Products may be dispatched from suppliers or fulfilment partners in the European Union, the United States, or another location disclosed for the product. The correct return address depends on the product and fulfilment route.

Do not send returns to ORDINEVA's Tampere business address unless our written return instructions specifically direct you there.

4. Returning the goods

After notifying us of withdrawal, return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the notice, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. You are responsible for ensuring that the parcel is adequately packed and for retaining proof of shipment.

You may inspect and handle a product as you reasonably would in a physical store. You may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the product's nature, characteristics, and functioning. Original packaging should be used where reasonably possible, but statutory rights do not depend on unopened packaging unless a lawful exception applies.

5. Return shipping costs

For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the direct return cost when we informed you of that responsibility before purchase. Because products may come from different suppliers or fulfilment locations, separate return parcels may be required.

For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, any required pre-contract estimate of the return cost will be provided with the product or checkout information. If legally required information was not provided, return costs will be handled in accordance with mandatory law.

If a product is defective, damaged on arrival, incorrect, unsafe, or otherwise not in conformity with the sales contract, ORDINEVA will cover reasonable return costs or provide another remedy required by law. Contact us before returning such a product.

6. Refunds

Following a valid withdrawal, ORDINEVA will refund all payments that must be refunded under applicable law. If the entire order is withdrawn, this includes the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for that order. Extra delivery costs caused by choosing a more expensive delivery method are not refunded unless required by law.

Refunds are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the withdrawal. For returned goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that they were sent, whichever occurs first, where permitted by law.

We use the same payment method used for the original purchase unless another method is expressly agreed. ORDINEVA does not charge a fee merely for issuing a statutory refund. Your bank or payment provider may need additional processing time.

7. Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply where a statutory exception applies. Examples may include:

• goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
• goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• sealed goods unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken;
• sealed audio, video, or software products after unsealing;
• digital content once delivery has begun with your express consent and legally required acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is lost; and
• services fully performed after your express request and acknowledgement, where the legal conditions are met.

An exception applies only when all legal conditions are met. These exceptions do not limit your rights concerning defective, damaged, unsafe, missing, or incorrectly supplied goods.

8. Damaged, defective, or incorrect products

Contact ordineva@gmail.com promptly and include your order number, a description of the problem, and photographs when reasonably available. Do not use a product if continued use could create a safety risk.

ORDINEVA will provide repair, replacement, price reduction, refund, or another remedy where required by applicable consumer law. A manufacturer warranty does not replace your statutory rights against ORDINEVA as the seller.

9. Order cancellations and non-delivery

If an order has not yet been fulfilled, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to stop fulfilment, but this may not be possible once processing or dispatch has begun. Statutory withdrawal and non-delivery rights remain unaffected.
